    E-Male COing Tonight -- PW Night Oct24

While I do not expect a parade, I just thought I would commit to doing some COing tonight in advance. I'll probably start around 8pm (TG server time), and go for two or three maps. Hopefully we'll see some else step up to CO as well, so we can have an informal scrim or sorts.

COing on PW nights is great, as it guarantees SLs who are going to follow orders. I'll be testing 'Strong Centre' and 'Defensive Triangle' tactics. No, I'm not giving anything away here -- its all been discussed before...

Tonight I'll be working on tactical use of smoke (not the 'little green bag' kind of smoke), more situation reports from SL's, providing SL's with advance warning for move-to operations, and more coordination between SLs during mass assaults.

I make no claim to being a superior CO, and will always step aside at any point if someone wants to take over the position in-game.

I'll be on teamspeak as well, ready to report the usual infractions of Santa, Sassy, and other weapons of mass destruction.

    E-male,

    Please keep making these posts.

Such premeditation brings a significant level of organization into the gameplay. Moreover, seeing a CO like you gives a great deal of confidence. Message is clear "Here is a guy who joined the game deciding (and most possibly planning) what to do before jumping in". What more one can ask?

I will join you and make a post when I have plans to deploy a 1stMIP squad. Short pieces of SOPs can be added to the post so whoever joins the squad will have a chance to read these before practicing.

I hope this becomes a TG tradition. COs, SLs and soldiers making posts in roll call threads.

"I am taking CO position tonight. A new strategy will be tested so follow orders carefully"

"I will be a dedicated transport chopper tonight, Just request a lift and I am there"

"I guess that leaves jihad jeeps to me, I will do my best to get kicked during initial moments of the round. Yes, this is really what I wanna do tonight" [This last one wasnt a good example ]

I too think it's great that you take the time and effort to lay out an overview. I usually read them, though it's rare that I get directly involved since I'm not normally a squad leader. Thanks for being one of the few consistent commanders in PoE, we definitely need more. I'd do it more often, but I just get too frustrated when squads aren't listening, to the point where I give up completely.
