Hmmm since 2142 has AI controlled drones...maybe a mod based on it will feature something like that automated one....or at very least a deployable one where you can take cover and operate the device from there.
Interesting though id hope the IFF software isnt microsoft LOL

Only if they see it coming... which they shouldn't unless you've got a death wish (firing on armor while they're looking at you = x_x )
I think they're just about right actually... they're just slow enough to require some skill to use them, yet fast enough to be effective. IMO, any reduction in arc or increase in velocity would result in a ridiculous amount of people using them... especially on infantry maps... be carefull what you wish for
