What is the time frame for everything to be patched? I can wait a while but I dont like to go back and patch to 1.4 and is Tactical server up and running for POE2?

There are not enough TG players who play consistantly to fill the server all by ourselves. Our server is very dependent upon public players. If the majority of public players have upgraded, then our server wont be filled since they wont be compatible. I really dont see the point of having the POE2 server population decline. Let's face it, the mods are played by two different types of gamers. If the player wants more "realism", then dont patch and stay with PR. If the player wants arcadey, patch and play BF2 and POE2.

Well I know there was no action from me on the TG server tonight because I had to re-patch to 1.41 again... oh and BTW, some PR servers have already patched up to 1.41 as I was playing on them tonight, after all, the PR site only says it does not recommend updating... it doesnt say it wont work if you do update... So maybe you guys should consider updating instead of waiting, then just apply their fix on release... after all, they havent even given a release date yet for the fix have they?

Unfortunately I think there's a real risk that it'll kill the POE server if it goes empty for too long. Random pubbies will find another place to get their fix and by the time it's patched, too many have dropped TG from their favorites.

This is a bit silly. Last night we had 7 people playing Fallen. POE2 is a great way to put a TG face out to pubbers longing to play as a team. We discuss recruiting like minded gamers, then severely handicap our abillity to draw people by not maintaining the server to the standard that the rest of the world is playing on. Isn't there some way where you can copy your profile for 1.40 on your hard drive and swap back and forth between PRM and POE2? I agree with Bane that there are different types of gamers and there is plenty of room for both here at TG. Let's not hinder our ability to recruit both.
