    Artillery

I love the Arty. When I have other [TOC] members with me, I am able to pound enemy positions prior to attack from friendlies.

The key to this is to get a good lock on the area of the flag. I can shift arty around the flag to hammer enemy troops while shifting away from friendlies as they move to the flag. This can make taking a flag from a determined defense much easier.

It is a shame that more people dont understand the usefulness of this tool. Sometimes, When I am on alone (clanless) I have trouble getting anyone to spot for me. Arty can be devastating when directed properly.

Any kit with binoculars and a radio can target for arty.

    1. Choose a target... lots of enemy... about to be attacked... check if in range.

    2. sight with binoculars and click fire button. (try to sight flag area)

    3. choose radio and click fire button.

    4. Tell arty man if he needs to shift fire in any direction for efectiveness.

You get assist points for any arty kills.

For those who like to jump into the arty.... this is not a tank.... dont drive it to the front. It just becomes another target there.

Didnt want to rant ....so back to the original subject...

    I love arty

This is as good of a place as any to say it. Appreciate the TOC guys on the server as the teamwork that I see them use is top notch. Tough as nails on the battlefield and as always I appreciate the challenge.

Thanks... we like it here. I must say that my clansmen are better than I. My challenge is to stay alive (which you make difficult)
