Re: PoE2 Rant
TOC has ventrillo but I have found that we are talking on VOIP more now. This is mainly an effort to include non-clan members in our discussions. We have also been recently discussing a 2 squad setup for nights when we have a full group of TOC and there are others who want to squad up with us.
Even if we just communicate with the written part would be helpful. I for one try to watch the printed text. I saw a request from Icky to do something the other night. He was commander but we did it anyways (it pays to do what an admin says
)
I see different ones telling others... Squad 6 defending church ... or ... squad 5 attacking lumbermill....
Int the absence of a CO, this will give the ones paying attention, some idea of what other squads are doing.

Re: PoE2 Rant
When you do send important tactical messages to your team ("SQUAD4 DEFENDING TRENCHES"), be sure to put some spaces at the start of your message... that way the text appears out in the middle of the screen where it won't blend in with the rest of the text - so the team will actually see it... like this:
Code:|TG-12th|WhiskeySix: SQUAD 5 - DEFENDING TRENCHES

|TG-12th|WhiskeySix

Re: PoE2 Rant
Actually ... we dont worry about admins. I cant tell you the last time one of had been banned from any where. I am pretty sure that it would have been because an admin took offense to us restating THEIR rules back to them. Some of us tend to get bent when select dweebs get to break the rules that the rest of us have to follow.
We dont care what the rules are (ya we do), as long as everyone has to follow them.
As for following the suggestion.... we were not in the middle of anything and we are willing to take on any chore. So off we went. I dont even remember if I was SL. Probably not as I dont like to take my attention off of the fighting long enough to lead. We tend to work as a disorganised group unless an outside source tells us to do differently.
I wonder if SL text color could be setup different from SM text. CO text is yellow. Could SL text be light blue? Just a random thought.
