    Here's one.

Add some text to the map description making it more clear to people that the germans are being air-dropped into position. While immensely humorous, I frequently find that a good many people fail to depoly their chutes once the round has started. If half the team crater, those critical first few minutes, seconds even, are right out the window (pardon the pun).

I guess that's more of a problem with the map design. But in and of itself, it is a tactical need. SGTGoodTactics says, "Soldier! You will deploy your parachute on any and all air-drop assignments! You will not make a hole in my battlefield!"

Good Idea.. Every time the map comes up, I warn my teammates in text chat and VOIP "Put your finger on your parachute" and at spawn I say "chutes chutes" and every round I start with at least 8 points from revives of soldiers who "cratered out".. It is funny, sort of, but it could be fixed easily.

Like said above, a higher spawn drop would be better.. Even better would be if that CP was an UCB. Do any of you remember the DC 24/7 Berlin modded server. It had a spawn point that was rotating around the map, like a plane. Then the Axis(Iraq) team always had a spawn.. Completely changed the way Berlin was played.. Now that is what Red Dawn needs, a constant spawn for the German team.(as they get ran off the map alot :/)

Thats why on Rivne I made players spawn on the ground instead of the air. Even the testers would die because they forgot.

Yea the TK problem sucks. I think the way the map in SF did it was making the spawns far apart.

Tks?? On spawn? How is this happening? soldiers landing on top of friendlies??

I have never seen this, but I hit my parachute very early, so I am one of the last down... On the way down I get to check the ground for my first bunch of revive points.

Very First time I played that map. I thought they were kidding about chutes and was proud of myself for reacting fast enough to open mine. Got squashed about 1 second later. Was funny at the time LOL
