Re: Where is everyone?
I was wondering what strange Japanese proverb made being outwitted related to "Nose Hair" (from the Kanji characters in the title screen). Then, when the black guy lost and they pulled out the tweezers, I screamed "NOOOOO!!!!" inside and ran away from the video...
Enough hi-jacking. The BF2 community is spread pretty thin, and with even more mods coming out, something is gonna have to suffer. PoE has been out the longest, so people are leaving that to try out the newer mods. Unfortunate, but it can be helped with some effective scheduling that everyone knows about, like a weekly PoE night.

Re: Where is everyone?
actually PoE has not been out the longest.
OPK and then PR then PoE.
PoE just has the most original content.Point Existence:2 Lead Tester of Mod Developement

Re: Where is everyone?
Wow - last night was great (I'll leave a $20 bill on the nightstand). Nights like that were why I "went POE2/TG".
I like the POE2 night idea, with everyones schedules being what it is. Maybe as was said, new content will rekindle (I'm sure it will). I know the different "clans" have scheduled nights, but watching the 33rd and 12th and 5th and... duke it out is always fun, maybe the trash talking even more fun. Battles on Woodlands were intense, even though I was on the receiving end (I think Whiskey turned himself into a boulder at one point).
If that could be done on PR as well, we would have 2-4 nights of great game play.

Re: Where is everyone?
While I started my TG career with PoE, I've since moved on to PR though I generally come back for a round or two every other night.

Re: Where is everyone?
I personally will check out poe again when
1) you can't steal vehicles from opfor anymore. That is soo vanilla.
2) people run slower.
OR
All other mods start sucking very badly.
Currently the only thing poe has going for it for me is the dingo's; I just learned they are actual vehicles that the hilarious Belgian army just bought. What it's like to play online games as a grown-up:http://s3.amazonaws.com/theoatmeal-i...e_gaming/1.jpg

Re: Where is everyone?
I think that what he means is when enemy units take and use friendly assets for their own purposes (ie: the tank spawn at the Lumber Mill on Carp.Mountains is a hotly contested item when assaulting that flag).
On the one hand, it makes sense to me that enemy units would not normally have the keys to operate abandoned assets. But at the same time, it adds another layer of strategic planning to CP assaults and defense.
