I've never liked this aspect of BF2. I think I would prefer it if vehicles wouldn't spawn when the enemy was nearby. But of course we are waaaaay off topic.

I think that stealing the other teams assets at a flag makes the game more exciting. If you dont get a body in the tank right away, there is a chance the enemy will. Then you have an enemy tank to deal with. Same with the Dingos, get a body in it or it has a good chance of turning "red".

Besides in PR having to request a kit, gives the other team the chance to go into farming mode.. MANY, many times I have been killed when trying to get a kit from the back of the APC that some nub drove up to the front and got out.

heh - last night on Dnister, we were holding radar station (just south of UKR UCB)... I put C4 on the friendly APC that spawns there and told the squad not to get in it.. knowing it would be irresistible for an attacking squad. About 10 minutes later, the 33rd surprised us from the SW...

    wait for it...

    steady nowwwwww... steadayyyyyyyyy

    c'monnnnnn.....

    YES! <click><BOOM>

<evil laughter as their SL now respawns elsewhere and we clean out the rest of the squad>

A pink teddy bear gun, that would be awesome.. You shoot someone with it, instead of doing damage they have a huge pink bear attached to them. you could see them from great distances(better than spotting them on the mini-map). If you shoot them in the face with it, they are blinded with only a pink screen to look at. That is until you run up and use the plastic spork on them.

I think it will be the only way I am going to knife Santa.

Although you may be favored by the gods, you weren't blessed with a very good memory...

So fortunately for we mortals, the same old tricks work over and over

I, sir, have a memory like an elephant. And several other things too, so watch it!!! I'm trying to minister your wayward path toward righteousness!

I'll be gone til later this month, I'm attending SFAS and will try my best. In the meantime, if you guys find something missing from your lives, it's probably me. Hopefully this URL will keep you sane until my return:
