POE Nuke League
Hey guys, here's the scoop. We have a new POE Nuke league kicking off shortly. We wrote the rules, BFCL is hosting it. Whiskey Six has volunteered to help administer the league for POE and Root will be leading the PR league. Massive props to both of those guys.
The league will be a 6vs6 Nuke format. Rounds are 15 minutes where round time is the determinant for who wins the match.

Currently the 5th, 7th, 12th and the Irregulars are signing up for this league. I have been personally hunting down other clans such as VSF, TOC, CB to drum up outside interest. Here is what I need from you. If you have an interest in participating, post in this thread. Please also indicate whether you would be willing to be a point man for a squad.
We will provide the private server, if necessary for gameplay, although BFCL has 10 servers available for matches. You will receive a set of private forums at TacticalConflict.com in order to keep your match information private.
Sign up guys and we will find you a team.

It looks fun. Is there any way to get a kind of general time commitment to this, though? Like a match a week for a month, 3 months? Until there's a winner? If I have to ask, it's not for me? I have no idea how long leagues last for these things, but it's springtime in here in New York.....

I believe it's set up for 13 weeks with a potential of playoffs. It is a match a week.

Sounds pretty interesting Lucky. I am not a supporting member and I am not really sure what a Nuke playmode is, but think I'll be down for this....

Well, you don't have to be a supporting member. Nuke mode essentially has one side defending an oversized truck and one side attacking it. The goal is to prevent the other side from destroying the nuke with C4. The league will be based off the time differences. It'll be a blast.

It remains to be seen if the irregs can get a full squad together, so in the event that we don't, we'll be coming here. Irregs, see the sticky in our forums!
