    Rivne and crashing

    Does anybody else crash a lot when loading Rivne? It happens to me all the time.

    Yeah mine usually does too, matter of fact alot of 33rd has this problem with this map.....what's up with that ? LOL

    Any particular size cause a crash? Any details about your set up or at what point you crash would be a huge help. This is the first I have heard of this issue.

    I know on the 64 player version that when you hit the Join button after the map finishes loading, the map's starting screen comes up, the game freezes, and the sound gets stuck in a continuos two-second loop. This goes on for about ten seconds and it's about a 50% chance to get disconnected from the server. The map will reload fine if you rejoin the server.

    So odd, in early testing we did have a crashing problem but that was due to a bad vehicle in the map which has been removed. Hopefully we can figure out whats the issue.

    Its possible that the map on your side might be corrupted.
    Load issues like this where resolved months before release and when we stress tested with over 150 people, it wasn't reported.

    I've reinstalled BF2 and PoE. I also downloaded PoE again and installed it. I'll hit the join button after the map loads and my whole system freezes for at least 10 seconds and then I just get disconnected from the server. It will crash like this on Fallen too, but very rarely (like 1 out of 50 times). Never had it happen on any maps.

    I thought a lot of people had this problem, but maybe it just has something to do with 33 in the name tag? And like Bane said, it only happens the first time it loads. If you rejoin, it will load up fine.

    Fallen too? Any other maps? Fallen rules out a vehicle issue and many statics. The more info you can give me, the better I might be able to fix the issue. Both Fallen and Rivne are my maps.

    I agree with Whiskey, it must be a 33rd thing.

    I do have random CTD, but during a round, and completely random... Like everyone else.
