Point of Existence:2 News Post #102
We would like to start off this weeks news by thanking all those who entered our Billboard contest. We will be posting the entries soon for a public vote where you can pick your favorites that will make it in game!
Ga-Knomboe Boy has been at work on a new urban map that we would like to show off a couple teasers for. This map is small, tight, and infantry focused. Take a peek yourself and see.
Our other item this week is a small in game video featuring the Littlebird. Daarken and Raptor were flying around on Berezan Island by SgtWedge and made this little video. The video highlights the bird as well as some effects that Dfast has been working on for our mini guns. Check it out!

We are still looking for 3Dmax coders, modelers, and skinners.
Keep your eyes peeled for more info on our billboard contest entries and more news from PoE.

Re: Point of Existence:2 News Post #102
Just out of curiosity...how many new maps are being worked on currently?
I know not to ask when they will be ready to go, but like everyone else am ready to play some new maps. Also, will the problems with Spies Like Us & Alcorn be fixed and included in the new release? Finally, do we know how many armor maps and how many infantry maps are in the mix? That's probably enough questions for now...Thanks...

Glad to see some new maps in the pipeline too.
Speaking of new maps, we occasionally play a couple of the maps that came with BF2 - what is needed to adapt the maps to play with POE? I was playing EOD while there were still a couple servers alive and I liked some of the maps they created. Is it possible to play POE with the EOD maps? I know there are issues with some of the EOD maps like getting stuck, but nonetheless I think it would be fun to try them, especially the infantry only "jungle" maps.

Re: Point of Existence:2 News Post #102
That is a great idea Judge, EoD has some great maps, and some that are eh.. But I think the PoE devs would have to have permission from the EoD mapmakers to use them. Although I dont think that playing in the jungles of vietnam with the Ukr, US and German armies would be too realistic. I could handle it though.
It is too bad that EoD is already dead.[TG-19th]theeANGELofDEATH(Steam/Origin)
