Hey guys. As everyone has noticed the poe2 server has been pretty inactive lately. In an effort to liven things up a bit and keep things positive going into the next poe2 release I'm going to be running a few event nights over the next week. Some you may get excited about...some you may not care one bit for. Success could go both ways as well...one of these nights may fail horribly. In the end just understand its an attempt to add a little variety and make things more enjoyable in these slow days where a lot of people are burned out with the current content and low server populations.

First up will be a passworded Nuke night tonight. Nuke mode can be quite a lot of fun if the players playing know how to play and utilize teamwork. Having a password should not only ensure the quality of play will be high but will also keep the population under control.

I also realize its the fourth of July. Along with the intentional short notice this holiday should also keep the population intentionally low. I'm sure the server will die down after 11EST so if you feel like launching some nukes before the real parties start then come join me.

Event Details:

• Encouraged Start Time: 9EST (but feel free to join whenever of course...I would expect earlier activity)
• Password will be nuke4me . This event is for everyone...if you read this post feel free to join.
• 2 rounds per map
• Timer is set to 20mins
• Auto Side switching will be turned on so each side plays defense and offense

Notes:

• - Nuke – Nuke mode is a form of objective mode, which pits Germany trying to take down Ukraine’s nuclear
  missiles. The mode is based on a time (Set by server admins) and Germany must rush against the clock to take out
  the missile before its too late. This is achieved by utilizing C4 from the spec ops kit. It takes a total of around 13-14 C4 packs to fully destroy the nuke.
• Please understand we could potentially have issues with too many people showing up. Maps that favor larger numbers of people will naturally be prioritized then but if need be I may have a conquest map or two in the rotation in case it is needed. 25-30 people will likely be the max number of people that will be desired for most nuke maps. For most maps 10-20 will be the ideal player count.
