Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Dnipro was by far the worst for me. I am lucky not to be prone to seizures, or it could have been trouble for me while I was shooting the arty on that map last night. Most others were decent, but I did just reinstall my entire system(thank you ghost 12.0 for making it so easy). I ran Ntune on my all Nvidia system and it seemed to improve things quite a bit.
I would also like to thank the server and the POE2 guys for motivating me to become a supporting member. I am willing to give a little of my hard earned teacher dough now that I have been kicked "for a supporting member" in the middle of a fun game.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Played just for a little bit tonight. I got the best framerates I have ever seen and no lag or rubberbanding at all. My framerates were up to around 60 and 70. Fairly good for me!

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Rivne is pretty bad system/performance lag for me, and I remember Bisclaravet mentioning that he was having problems too. It was fine in prior releases, not sure why it would suddenly be so rough on my system.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Here's a little report on tonight's events for me. My settings on 8800GTX, 2GB ram, blah blah blah....only video card really matters anyway right?

Next I wanted to try out other servers to find out if it isn't just TG that's causing my horrible framerates. Here are those results. The first one, Spies, is the Team Dissidents server, I think. I forget what the other server was.

Well what do you know? The framerate is back to normal. 131 and 85. Now I really wanted to test my luck and hop on to TG's server, and the first map is Guardian.

Again, it's where it should be, at around 78. I finish the round, and Zhytomyr is up next. Now I didn't get a screenshot near the beginning of the round, but I assure you, the framerate was all good and normal.....up until this point.

Nothing happened on my system, I changed nothing. During the middle of gameplay the frames drop drastically for no apparent reason! What the hell! Real time when that happened was around 10:10PM EST. I'm hoping it has something to do with the server, because I've been messing around with so many different settings on my system the last few days trying to determine a cause for this. I just want this madness to end because when I did play smoothly for a map and a half tonight on TG, I had fun.|TG-12th| jmaker

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Jmaker, it may be something with your ISP too. To isolate the TG server when your frames slow you may want to log out and go back to a different server to check your framerate. Usually the TG server has a higher number of players than others so server load may be a factor too.

Also, check temps on your card. I got that same frame-rate drop when my GPU-heatsink grew a dust sweater. After playing for a little bit it would overheat, and the GPU would clock itself down to prevent damage.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Processor/Video Card downclocking itself due to overheat sounds like an option...I would also alt tab out and check task manager...see if anything else is eating up cpu/memory when this occurs.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Do you guys have Battle Recorder active? I know that it can affect server performance.
It havn't had nearly the problems that others seem to be having (even Odessa runs pretty well for me), but I do notice that I get less rubberbanding / studdering on some of the other servers I've played on.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Battlerecorder is on, but has been on for months without complaints of lag. It's also set at a low level, I doubt BFR is suddenly creating the issue.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
jmaker, see this thread since it sounds familiar: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=91118
And, after seeing your settings, I wish I could play this damn game at above 1280x1024! Grrr... expensive rig and because I run a widescreen LCD I'm limited to low rez.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Thanks Jaymind. I tried Alt Tab and it didn't really do anything. I'll keep reading that thread and see if anything else helps. My lag wasn't as bad tonight, only when a lot was happening on screen.

I experienced lag on Lutsk, but no lag on Spies.

Re: Seeking your 1.7 lag report
Guys can anybody tell me if the maps Fallen or Orel are experiencing lag that they were not before? Or are they running the same for you?
