Please note that Berezan Island 64 now has majority bleed
Thanks to Icky we have done a server side mod to Berezan to change the ticket bleed behavior. Stock for the map is a team bleeds when they are down to only one flag. This creates several problems:
- Rounds often last the full time limit. Rarely will the ticket count for one team ever reach 0.
- 2 or 3 flags...it was all the same. This creates apathy in controlling more ground than the other team. Why push for a third flag when it does not change the bleed factor? Apathy leads to boredom. The sense of urgency to take or hold a flag is just not there.
- Teams that have half their team screwing around with air assets are not getting punished for ignoring the ground game. This is not fair to the ground players. If one team is getting beaten heavily on the ground then they should lose quickly and the round ticket score should reflect the lopsided win.
We hope going forward that players will now enjoy this map more...especially the ground pounders. This is a very good combined arms map that I think was lacking that passion due to players feeling like they were just playing deathmatch while the air was having all the fun and the flags did not matter much. With this change you need to hold 3 flags and the enemy will bleed tickets like on all other maps. That sense of purpose and achievement should return.|TG-12th|mantis

I did think it was strange that everytime Berezan came on it went the distance.
