    Post Retirement

As, I have been trying more and more to get into POE nowadays I feel it has, for me that is, lost most of the camaraderie and overall tactical cohesion that drew me initially.

It has always been my belief that keeping rules and enforcing them is what keeps a good thing from turning into a bad thing. To that effect, it has become apparent that when the rule breakers totally outnumber those that live by the rules, all hell ensues. I find it tiresome to have to find a TG squad to have an enjoyable and structured experience. Otherwise I have to make my own squad, which I have to inevitably fill with TG minded folk if online. Otherwise I find myself in some squad with no idea of where to go and why I am doing anything cos my SL and SM's just feel like trying to give Mantis and Santa a run for their money, most times failing.

It has been my pleasure to play with you guys/gals for the better part of a year now, but it seems that the time may have come to part ways. POE is a brilliant mod and deserves much more praise than it has, it used to be the same could be said about the level of play on the server. Unfortunately it has slowly decayed into a mob mentality of Friendly Fraticide Monkey Mayhem, Command & Control Issues and Veteran Bailers.

Maybe this is one of the reasons, maybe not. It's honestly a bit heart aching to write this write now as I fear some might look at this as an indictment of TG itself. I love TG and have enjoyed the mishaps and moments that have kept me coming back night after night.

I will still be checking in and I hope to be playing Tabula Rasa which I have been playing instead of POE. May you all have Good Games Always.

Note I will still be playing POE on and off till TR goes Live Retail, so don't expect to see me just disappear. But after it does, I will be uninstalling BF2 and POE.

Special shout outs to Ma shottaz in tha "Fifth" LuckyShot, Sgt York, Pjaronex, MoreGooder, Khareus, EO, corporate, Angel of Death, NotOneOfUs and others. From da 12th, WhiskeySix, Project, Mantis aka that moth@%##*!g hax00r you are a god among men. The 7th, Santa that other moth@%##*!g hax00r , icky, Jaymind, Beatnik, Troublesome
The 33rd, Sassy & BaneII rounding out the holy trinity of moth@%##*!g hax00rs .

Special shouts to 9MM of the Irregulars.

A fond fair well to all in POE.

Any reference to hax00rs only means I wish I was that good.

Long May the FFTHFF(5th) live in our memories and our teamplay.

Sorry to see you go. It does seem like the number of smacktards has increased, and it's turning more deathmatchy.

Does this mean you'll be getting rid of your cool sig image?

I hope you will change your mind. You will be missed.

The time for calm and rational discussion has passed. Now is the time for senseless bickering.

Drastic times may call for drastic measures...but DON'T DO IT!
(don't misunderstand my all caps as easier to read..I AM ACTUALLY SHOUTING)
Take a break, go on hiatus, take a short vacation, get some fresh air.
As I recall, you just went through a near-miss hurricane. As it did before,
the storm will pass and I hope we will see some blue skies ahead.
We need you here. I hope to see you in the air again soon.

    Re: Retirement

Hey kilevvri1 Gosh I noticed two of my threads were listed in your reasons you want to retire the game. I sure hope I have not contributed to your decision to part paths in anyway. I am as frustrated as well hence the posts. However I am driven to keep playing and helping TG maintain its reputation as I fully agree with its SOP’s. I love the people here and that’s why I stay. For example the other night I played with some one from Sweden and Argentina that were great and know what team work is all about. They gathered here on this server because for all its failings it’s still the best site for theses mods. You know that any site has its slice of life and is like society itself. It’s never going to be nirvana. We can only try and improve what we can have fun and make friends along the way. I feel that abandoning this game is not a good solution for me even though at times I get frustrated. When I get a good squad or SL and have a great round more than makes up for the tough times.
I hope that I will see you some time again on here and hope more over that when you do you will find it better than when you last left it. Also I agree with Betterdeadthanred to try PR as that has some great folks as well!!!

    LOL, you rock Lucky,

    To everyone else:

I am sorry but good games seem to be far and few between now, maybe in a couple months things might have died down and only the die-hard tacticians will be left. Maybe then I will rise like the phoenix from the ashes.

I have said all I need to say in my post so no need to re-iterate. I will miss playing with you guys though, a whole lot.

    Kilevvri1, out...

You're a tough competitor and it diminishes us all when we lose someone who has dedicated themselves to "the TG way". Peace, dude.

    Re: Retirement

Even if you don't play POE, stick with TG. TG plays lots of games.

Crysis, Frontlines, ET:QW are on the horizon.

Good luck, have fun. You are a good player and will be missed.

Come play PR with us. It doesn't have hardly any of these problems you speak of. It is amazing.
