I shelved AA when I couldn't figure out if I was an "A" player a "B" player or a "C" player. It didn't strike me as a flight simulator though even with bots on the ground.

lol.....philosophy is not required and neither are bots my friend...they are good starting ground. I was trying to point out that many of the "realism" issue people have(even though they only want them to apply for their benefit) exist in ArmA. If you like running and gunning though, it's definitely not for you.

The only realism sim with almost all this planes I know is Lock ON. IMHO -the best modern air combat sim. Still if somebody would like to apply realism from that game... U will face air to ground strikes from 6 km. And 250 kg bombs will be able to tire apart entire tank park. As well as long range AA combat from 40 km distance and long range invincibility of F-22.
Sim is very different game, and it will be boring just to drive 20-40 km to combat zone
