That is the real issue. People tend to expect to use air to fight air but in this map and maps like Crimea, you have to use your ground assets. Use and guard the shilka! Use the Sa7 pick up kit. Or if in a pinch, use the tanks main cannon as I get tons of chopper kills that way.

I can never seem to find the vaunted Sa7 pickup kit. Where is it on this map?

Ukraine main camp flag. Its under the east tent on a table by the fixed AA gun. There is also a TANDEM AT kit there as well.

I believe there is also one up at listening post to the right where the APC Spawns. Should be outside on a crate IIRC

Don't forget the one at Beach. It appears on top of the crates that are under the camo on the west side. A few tips here: Once you have the kit and use it, you can swap out with the support kit that spawns next ot the flag and throw youself ammo for more missiles to keep going. You can last quite a while. At the very least, the beach position is nice because you can lock a tone on most air assests coming from the carrier almost all the way down to Lighthouse to make them think about their approach. With all the ammo you can supply yourself, you can be quite annoying to helos for a while. PS: If ikonic is in the helo he will spray the beach down with enough missles that the sand will turn to glass and that may be hard to survive. lol
