I sometimes have freezes while playing PR, I've always thought it was due to my high ping because it happens on days when I get a lot of disconnects etc.

The main reason why I almost never fly heli's or planes. A few times I've even frozen while driving and ended up in the most bizarre places.

Disconnects can be down to graphical problems. Ive had problems with vpu errors before now and it would disconnect/freeze far more at that time

I have experienced occasional large "lags" when a bunch of folks are entering or exiting an APC together. This is infrequent and lasts a fraction of a second. Other than that no crashes nor other weirdness. I have everything on High, 2AA and running 1920x1200. Framerate varies a bunch depending on location but is 75-100fps.

The memory monitor on my X15 keyboard frequently shows 60-70% of RAM being used which surprises me as that is a lot if its correct.

I had my Nvidia 6800 video card die last sunday in the middle of a PR session. I got a new Nvidia 7600GS with 512 RAM - works great. I would recommend the 7600 to anyone getting a new card, as the 7600 series is available with 512 MB of RAM - not the case when I got my PC 18 months ago.

Also allows me to crank the settings up to High for all the settings without a problem. Not sure if that is the video card or the 3.5GB RAM in the box.

Yeah I know that if I get an 1gb stick I could crank up my graphics! But for now... I got between 70-100fps all time, no major FPS drop (sometime but it's very rare and not "regular") and a very short loading time!

but yeah... the game look not very good :| (looks like bf 1 tho...)

^ same system excepts for 4gigs of ram. I don't freeze up, when i do then its the server. I also get a 10-20 ping to the server.

My system just ran out of memory, thats with 2.3gig and 333meg swapfile. Doubled the swapfile now
