Jihad Cars

I jumped into the game last nite and found myself in a squad of quite experienced Insurgent folks. I felt somewhat lost on the Insurgent map of Basrah. My SL says grab the Jihad car and prepare to move out the blowup a British vehicle. OK, right - I'm all over that...in principle, but how?

The car is driven up to the front lines and I get in as driver. My squad distracts the British and I move up on the flank, approach from backside and actually succeed in driving right up and blowing us both up.

Unbelievably lucky for me I think, but what the heck it worked as planned.

So, in hindsight - how do I recognize and find these Jihad cars in the future - all I see are little red cars - they all look the same to me, and some are the spawn cars?

The way I tell them is by the C4 which is sitting on the back seat. Also, when you get in a spawn car, there are more seats available on the little seat icon on the bottom of the screen.

There's probably an easier way to tell from the outside. Maybe the spawn car has the sunroof and the suicide car doesnt?

Its easier to try and memorize locations for some of them.

To be honest, just slamming into the side of an apc with anything will do quite a bit of damage. its all about how much you can throw at them.

if u can post a map of Basrah, I'll mark them all for you while I'm at work.

...sabretooth brings up a good point though, its just as easy to use C4 and make your own pimped ride. (just hit F2 to switch seats and detonate).

I didnt think of the F2 thing, Ive been jumping out, usually sucessfully.

I was highest score on my team yesterday purely through jihad killing. We lost anyway of course but taking out an apc is -5 tickets (plus usual infantary loss) for UK I think so its worth doing

Do you manage to stay "alive" and run away from the explosion?

try the trick on a motorcycle sometime, its pretty fun.

yeah this rock!! But sometime hard to do as the motorcycle can be easily damaged by doing too much of "off-road"!! :P

yeah, I hate it when you are just about to kill the infidels and your bike blows up because you went over a pebble.

I hardly ever play insurgents, but I like the jihad trucks! Holding right mouse button and listening to the star wars cantina music as you drive to your doom has to be the most relaxing thing ever!

Right clicking is the fastest way to find out, although its more efficient to just look in the back seat for the IED.
