Agreed.
I play medic all the time (sacrificing my kill ratio) and a get bitched at a ton.
@ BigGaayAl - I only bitch at medics who watch me die and run away even after I've rezzed them or taken care of them several times and they abandon you, or those who neglect to read the PR Manual. Too many new people lately.

Sort of a peeve...
When I am shot close to death, an pull a grenade, it is in my hand and I hit throw but, I just die, and the nade disappears...would be so nice to have that littel pineapple, in my final breath, fall to the ground and blow to shreds during the ritual teabag/kit rape in my deathcam...I need a smaller signature I guess

Me too but on balance you can pull the pin and hold it as long as you like without it blowing whereas in some games you would run out of time & it'd blow up and take you and everyone else around you with it.
It would also encourage suicide attacks

Re: pet peeves of pr
I hate the way the mod is played now with AAS, yes. BF2 and other mods don't run AAS, they run conquest.
We used to run PR without AAS mode but now I believe that is impossible. I just hate the way it forces everyone into mindless zerging from one flag to the next. Sure this happened in Vanilla BF2 constantly but not at TG. AAS forces everyone to the same flag leaving a loss in gameplay I believe. Too tired to explain properly.

Sprintbug! That, and jungle maps: my little dell can't quite handle them and they're rubberband-tastic deathfests for me... time to upgrade the hardware.
But that's not PR's fault. So, I guess just the sprintbug. Also, it's difficult to aim the tank/APC precisely at long ranges when in full zoom; it's choppy. Either too far one way or the other. Is that a game limitation or is it my crappy mouse?

Only good gaming mice let you adjust sensitivity on the fly. my MX518 is perfect for this.

Having some random LAT rocket hit a little bird full of troops.
Hate it when im one of those troops. Love it when i shoot the rocket.

When you can't run anymore, you crawl and when you can't do that, you find someone to carry you.

Re: pet peeves of pr
I have rarely seen the whole team at one flag.
Proper AAS gameplay in my experience is one squad at each defense flag, making sure they do not fall.
Two Squads pressing the attack if a single flag is next, and one on the flag after if it is not the main.
This is your 5 6 man squads put to the best offensive usage of the full team, depending on resistance you can adjust squads around, but having the entire team on one flag means you are likely to get steamrolled if your eggs are all in one basket as the attackers are likely to kill your spawns that are further away and can focus their fire on you.
AAS2 allows a team to press the attack by getting through the other teams offense instead of playing whack a mole. I do not miss whack a mole.

Re: pet peeves of pr
The reason I bought my G7, awesome for long distance aiming
.
- people requesting a medic, then run away from him / medics that run away from people requesting a medic
- the inability to climb dumb little hills, with or without vehicles... so frustrating
- squad members changing kits without permission
- people taking assets from dedicated squads, only to destroy them 2 minutes later
- getting kicked while flying a transport chopper
- blowing yourself and your squad with C4 because of lag
- people driving over your mines and punishing you for it
I could go on and on...

Re: pet peeves of pr
Players who don't follow me into cover when I revive them and then bitch about when they bleed out. Unless you're my SL or the CO, I'm not staying in an area that's taking fire to heal you!
Mind you, they're better than those that follow you into cover and then face you while you heal them instead of scanning for the enemy. I've lost count of the number of times I've died mid-heal due to this...
