yeah, also i was reading on the journal, and they know a way to make it so you can kill a critically wounded person with bullets, but are undecided on whether to put it in game.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

I think that is reality...

How many times have you killed a squad only to find they have been revived?

Lots of times

It would be nice to confirm a KILL and you know hes no longer a threat for another 60 seconds

MoH:PA (the game that died within a month) had a similar system, I have to admit I enjoyed killing wounded people :P. It 's realistic so they should implement it imo.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

Poe2 had it,but you have to use a lot of shots to finish them off.

Sonic, do you not see the potential problem of the medic being useless? If all you have to do is put in an extra 2-3 shots, people would be constantly "dead".

But to do this you must adjust your aim as they slide to the ground, which will take a little less than a second. Then putting accurate shots into the body will take a few more precious seconds. And after that, you will most likely be dead since you didn't focus on the other people shooting at you.

It would be best to make it so you had to put the extra shot or two in within a certian time....or make it where you had to use your knife to do it (if possible...which I think it is).

I don't think the Devs should (and will) encourage players to commit war crimes.

I honestly thought that this was something that was already a part of the vBF2 engine, and as a result (whether by oversight, or as being purposely left in) was "normal".

Coming from years of experience in BF2 (and its varying mods), it's almost become natural to put a few extra rounds in a player's body when they prove to be a constant menace, or source of frustration, or in cases where the player is an asset to the other team (SL's, key enemy players, or kit users).

And yes, trying to put those extra shots in to the job should be saved for a relatively clear situation, or at a seemingly appropriate time. Living players should always take priority.

Thats the answer then, put it in but with similar penalties. It can relate to the hassle of explaining why you deemed it necessary

Exactly my point. It was just overlooked.

Once a small firefight was over, I would gladly take one for the team and lose a few points (because points don't even matter for one), and a few extra seconds on the spawn timer to make sure any high importance kits couldn't be brought back by the click of a button (H-AT, Sniper, Officer, etc).

Once again, who cares about 2 extra minutes you don't get to play? If you do, you might actually need that break. Go get a drink, sit back relax for a minute. There are things outside of gaming.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

I don't see why you should be penalised for killing the person that tried to kill you... especially when he can be revived to come back and kill you after all.

PS: Found this in the screenshot section, thought I 'd post it here (thx Sabre):

Nut i hope it`s code issues.
