Re: PR Dev Journal.

That map looks amazing.

If anyone has read the book '3 Para' (Patrick Bishop), then Bastion and Sangar will be names you will recognize.

That book was a big eye-opener to what the British and coalition forces in Afghanistan were/are up against on a daily basis out there (keep safe if you are one of them).

Cant wait

Bi Ming daytime.

Even though I 've never gotten the chance to play Bi Ming 0.7, I do look forward to this version:

Menu screen.

Looks good imo, even though I 'll never get to see it (autologin ).

This image won the Army Experience and Best Overall Image awards at the Army Photographic competition 2007.

I managed to get clearance from the British Army to use it as our Menu Screen.

It was taken by LCpl Ian Chapman, a serving TA Soldier whilst on Duty in Afghanistan in 2007.

It is named:

"Casevac"

An injured soldier is stretchered on board a Chinook helicopter for evacuation. The guy in the foreground is receiving a message on his radio.

For further Photo's please visit his site @

Ian Chapman Photography

I chose this Photograph as I believe it depicts "Realism"

Anyway here you go:

Re: PR Dev Journal.

Only problem I have with it is that instead of looking like hes receiving a radio message, it actually looks like hes tugging on his ear.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

Agreed, for some reason the thought of an Abrams and a cooler full of beer really got my imagination going, lol.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

I don't even know what it looks like now, I always skip the login screen .

It 's easy to change it yourself btw, you can download the software here and make your own custom menu. Just need to edit the .bik files...

Re: PR Dev Journal.

I've heard the great news that there are currently a huge amount of maps in developement. Think multiple times the amount we have now! I think this is great news. It will be very hard for people to learn the maps as well as now, and this should make for much more varied gameplay.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

6 months and everyone will know the new maps. Think about it. We've had the 0.7 maps for right around 3 months, and everyone already knows every inch of them. I have about 20 super sekrit rally point locations on fools road alone and we've only had that REALLY active in the rotation for about a month. But it's still very good news.

On the other side of things, I think we drove fuzzhead to madness tonight on Fools Road. We were all asking him when we were going to get fastropes and tactical nukes.

Forget the suppression effects and check out the UH-1Y! If that thing makes the patch I'm going to flip (in a good way ). And is it just me, or do the G3 iron sights look different? If only he had actually fired the new G3, then that video would have been complete...
