Re: PR Dev Journal.
I'm looking forward to using the ak74 while crouched behind a burnt out car, or on a apartment balcony and holding it above my head firing like a maniac on the streets of fallujah a la el insurgents in the movie "the kingdom".

Re: PR Dev Journal.
You gotta love the russian weapons, although I never was a fan of the Ak47.
I wonder if they'll have as much recoil.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
for the gun freaks out there, is there any difference between the ak47 and ak74 round? Just wondering if it will has the same stopping power or different accuracies between the rifles.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
I know the original AK-47's that were produced used the 7.62mm round, however I do not know if the AK-74 uses a less caliber round, or if the updated versions of the AK-47 use a less powerful or the original 7.62mm round, i am unable to copy and paste information due to the fact that i am using my iphone right now, nor is my internet source that reliable as i am in transit.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
Yea, think that the 47 is 7.62, and someone told me the 74 is a 5.56 NATO?
Just wondered cause in game, I can barely hit anything with a 47 after waiting a bit for the deviation, and thought that the 74 might be a little more accruate hopefully. We shall see since deviation changes are going to affect everything now.

AK47 fires 7.62x39mm, AK74 and its variants fire 5.45x39. The AK101, the export version of the AK74M, fires 5.56x45mm NATO.
QBZ-95 fires 5.8x42mm.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
This is going to be the best release EVARRRRRRRRRR.lloolollooollolololo
On the serious side, this release has a lot of things going for it. I just hope they fixed the only thing that matters to me, deviation. Other than that I honestly think this is going to be the best release ever, save for the incendiary grenades which i am very skeptical of.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
Yup, deviation is good now, those of us (and I am being humble and including myself here) who considered ourselves good shots will be happy, now it seems skill with a rifle is rewarded again, I know I'm hitting shots I used to hit before the huge deviation became an issue. Less random luck, more skill. The way it should be. And as for the new Chinese HAT, it is nice, I have had some kick as hits with it, but takes getting used to!

How does the Chinese H-AT do drop off wise? Is it like the L-AT or does it go straight for much longer?

Re: PR Dev Journal.
The Chinese HAT may require some skill, No Guidance system. But it can be deployed in less time which is good. I can hardly hit long distance targets because I can hardly see the target.
I hope I can at least 'win' a spot on release day on the TG server. Time to put my war face on!
