Re: PR Dev Journal.

Isnt being fired from all stances in deployed mode a bit unrealistic? To be effectively fired in deployed mode it has to be laying on something, so laying should be the only...unless you can find a rock or something to lay it on.

Agreed, sort of like the Call of Duty Deployable weapons.

Wow.. this will change the role considerably.. I like the long settle time, and with a zoom, a saw gunner with a good field of fire is going to be a force to be reconed with!

When you deploy a Bipod, nothing happens to the FCG, or any of the guns mechanisms.....

Here's a little more explanation:

Of course this means that you could stand in the middle of nowhere, wait eight seconds and have deadly accuracy. But in the majority of cases, there'll be some kind of cover that in reality, you'd be using for weapon stability.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

Wow, those are some nice buffs for the SAW. Maybe SLs will think twice before not taking one of them.

Somehow the SAW doesn't strike me to be the subtle type of weapon suitable for the reconnaissance role. Maybe the "kill-everything-in-sight" role, but not recon.

Re: PR Dev Journal.

It's not an actual Dev Journal, but it's something cool that retired developer CAS_117 has been working on. He calls it the .85 combined arms PR mod. It's basically a bunch of air assets that are made more realistic. He even has a forum up for it (http://combinedarms.myfreeforum.org/...6d9b73e58b08d3

Here are some vids:

Re: PR Dev Journal.

I think Pancho meant to put a "k" after the "c".........i could be mistaken, the other night he was talking in Spanglish, and every time our SL said: "there is enemy over there?" he said "si over there" and looked at me and i thought he meant "see over there" and i starting shooting and then he would laugh at me in Spanish.......i cried myself to sleep that night.
