Re: PR Dev Journal.
Doesn't the abrams in real life have technology allowing the tank commander to spot the target and align the gun to it automatically so the gunner can just shoot immediately... or is the other way round... or am I wrong.
I wonder about involving NATO into PR? If it hasn't already been tried... I just want to play with a Leopard tank, (germany is in NATO right).

You're right about the Abrams, and I'm pretty sure that most other modern tanks have the same features. Also, there is a German faction being developed for PR. They were featured in the Dev Journal a couple of months ago.

If it aligned automatically that would kind of ruin the fun of PR. There are some things that are meant not to be realistic

Re: PR Dev Journal.
I think they should try to include more factions.
I think they should also do like a joint-op map. Where US and British Forces vs. China, or Chinese and MEC forces vs. US. Or something like that. Sounds a little far fetched, I know. But one can only dream.

Yeah I know, you would not need any skill. I was just asking if the abrams actually had that in real life.

I like this idea, too. Theoretically should be possible. Just make the spawn selection screen include both faction's riflemen, etc...
Problem I foresee is voice commands. Having one faction with both british and American voice packs?

Clearly we need to include some exasperated american troops arguing with the stupid british too! No war film/game is complete without it.
See from about 4.30 to 5.40.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
Not to get too off-topic, but I love Band Of Brothers. One of the greatest mini-series ever. I would say it's THE best, but Generation Kill gives it a run for its money.

Yeah, give the voice pack/model for the kit that goes with the faction. Include it all in one screen. Hell, just to make it more far-fetched, maybe get a 2nd commander? The only thing I saw drawing conflicts is which faction gets the requestables.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
We dont need two factions to get mistakes like that, its in the game now
'Fire at the tree trunks with heat'
'Theres no one there'
'fire anyway'
'I cant see anyone to fire at'
'fire with heat at the trees, I dont care if you see them or not'
#gunner uses coaxial
#facepalm
#Insurgent fires rpg at apc

Re: PR Dev Journal.
I think last time i read about two forces, it was said undo able. Which doesnt make sense two have two (as cool as it would be) because then it would be 15 of each, and that would be kinda lame. Other things come into play too like who gets to play on what team, and stuff like that.
