Re: Ribbons Update

Do you have to be a supporting member to receive these? I wonder why I've never been nominated

Re: Ribbons Update

Cause we dont love you enough tango (), and no, you dont have to be a SM to get ribbons. You dont even have to be a regular on the server! You could very well get a ribbon for your first time playing here if you do a stellar job.

Nominations are something that not a lot of people do (i dont see why, theres a huge green link in my signature to suggest it), and also, not every nomination is actually awarded a ribbon! The ribbons team pours over all of the nominations every week and decides which ones they think merit the ribbons. However (and please correct me if i'm wrong here), I've been told that if you are nominated for a ribbon and dont receive it that week, it doesnt mean that you wont get it sooner or later.

And remember: karma guys! It's that mystical force that functions on the "what goes around comes around" rule. So write up some of your teammates once in a while and they may do the same for you!

Re: Ribbons Update

Dont worry JCTango, it will come in time. I took me over a year to recieve my first ribbon, but I guess me sucking could have something to do with that.

Can't work out how to have several different images [such as banners and ribbons] in the signature, so I will drop that project for now...

Caesar counted on his veteran Gaul legions. Napoleon had his Old Guard. Queen Victoria was well served by the Cold Stream Guards. Tactical Gamer can always rely on the
