The laser guided bombs in ANY aircraft are dropped without the "I've got lock." or any lock symbology. Yes, you hear it from time to time just as you are passing over the target..just ignore it. The guided missles, however, do require you to fly at the target and wait for the lock symbol and "I've got lock" to occur before you fire the missle.
