Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

Forgot about Fuzzhead and Portable.Cougar, and I miss the days of a good 1st MIP squad with like eMale and John.

Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

I personally give some "Braps" (Is that what the cool kids call it now a-days?) to anyone who pro-actively attempts to lead any size group of people within PR. Keep the teamwork going guys, it's what makes PR & TG such a fun combination.

Without you SL's it would be like any of the other PR servers.

Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

Since I usually squad lead, I don't get out much.

However:

I've been in Portable.Cougar's squad and find him to be an excellent squad leader - very in charge of his squad and aware of what is going on both around the squad and also what is happening elsewhere on the map. He's able to position the squad to do what is needed for the team as a whole to be successful as much as he can control it.

I had a chance to squad up with DirtBoy once and had a great time until my wife made me quit playing. So what if we had dinner reservations? Come on! I'm in DirtBoy's squad!

Fuzzhead is fun to squad with because he's just so together it's not funny. I try to get in his squad occasionally to learn some new things. Extremely patient SL - tolerates more than I would.

[EDIT]

Jumping on the Soccer as Best CO bandwagon. When he's in the CO slot, I know everything is gonna be alright!

[/EDIT]

Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

I also don't get out much but,

inno real order

Boston Bob (always good times win or lose)
d1sp0sabl3H3r0 (likes winning as much as me)
AFsoccer (takes the Co award as well)

Really though I agree that anyone who has wears their ovaries on the outside long enough to squad lead is a great assist to the team.

Thanks to everyone who mentioned me.

Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

Betterdeadthanred: Because he's an ambassador to pubs. And because he's geographically the closest PR player I know of. SWFL pride yayuuh.

Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

Disposable and Warehouse , equally and in no particular order.

The best offense is a strong defense, and the best defense is a strong offense.

And I almost forgot BostonBob; a hometown hero who I havn't played with in months.

I will say warehouse was the first SL i had who opened my eyes to the potential of the game and a well oiled squad.

Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

Gotta mention Dirtboy's squad right off the bat, he's the reason I'm here right now. Had some awesome times with WAREHOUSE, afsoccer I think I've been in your squad a few times. Dirti, lately your squads have been alot of fun. Every now and then I come across a devils brigade guy who is really on top of things but I can't remember his name.

I'm kind of surprised that nobody's mentioned CC Tactics, a la Charity_Case. Good stuff.

Re: Your favorite squad leaders.

I do of course agree with several of the names mentioned, like Soccer, Fuzz, both Dirt's just to mention a few. Oh, I cant forget about eGoatboy - top of the line. There there are some I have not played with, so it is difficult to have an opinion.

But what I would like to point out is that there are people who everyone knows are good at SL, hence those squads fill up in 0,2 sec. That's alright, but I think that it is fun when you end up with a SL that you never had as SL before - and it is awesome. I have had two such encounters this week, and I just have to mention them since they were great at what they did/are doing: CrawlingEye and hgl420[...]
