I'd also like to see Zatar Wetlands changed or removed, In th current rotation I can guarantee it coming on at certain times of the day almost like clockwork and every time it does, especially early in the morning around 2-4 am, it's nothing on the US side but people screwing off with the helos and failing to take anything but Beach Landing 2.

I really like Zatar now. If the US gets even mildly organized they can give the MEC a terribly hard time.

Glad to see the hills gone, it was only a relic from the past really. I love Zatar though. If the MEC doesn't play it in a lame way, then it is a very fresh experience which I vote most interesting map of 0.7.

It's really good when we get decent teams together, but every time I see it in rotation early in the morning, it's usually when no admins are on, so it starts to attract a lot of lamers. People flying helos into MEC assets to crash them, MEC firing APCs and AA on the carrier and killing infantry or helicopters as soon as they spawn, people just taking the blackhawks on joyrides, etc.

Hills wouldn't be so bad if there was a little bit further decently covered area for the US forces to get started instead of the nade spam stadium it is now. There's also only one area to flank and one or two spots that RP's can be placed where they can't be hit reliably without a Grenadier.

I like the concept, I like the look of the map, but it is just too much bullet and especially nade spam to be fun.

I have to agree with Al - I absolutely love the way Zatar plays out now. With counter-attack mode, and the US not having enough troops to secure every flag (if defended properly by the MEC), it makes for a very interesting match. Tactics pay off in a big way on this map.

I didn't get a chance to play it, oh well, im with you nardini, i played zatar for the first time last night and it is a heck of a lot more interesting than the previous version.....but organization is key.

Im bored to death everytime I play Zatar...

It always puts me as MEC, and we always devastate the USMC, and they are all too busy grabbing 15 pilot kits on the carrier to do anything organised......

Everytime you have a map with alot of air vehicles, you are bound to attract THE WORST kinds of players, this is a fact.

The one or two rounds I've played on Zatar were a great experience. Playing as USMC it was pretty even with the MEC coming out like gangbusters during their counter-attack...and it went down to the line. Great map, great gameplay.
