I 'm all in favour of long rounds but 2 hours is it for me... I like playing more than 1 map/night.

Hell, we had a round on qwai that went over three (i think) last night. I know for a fact that my squad sat at processing for at least an hour and a half. Never did understand why the US didnt drop a JDAM on us. Our command post, bunker, firebase and 2 AA guns wera all there, not to mention 10 or 15 infantry+tanks/apcs/trucks at any given time. It was fun though!

I hate to reveal info that will only serve to make me look less "PR-y", but lately, when I only have an hour to play I have been jumping on....here goes .....vanilla BF2 servers playing Strike at Karkland.

I know, I know, bunny hopping, "tea-bagging", sniperfest you name it but at least I can get on, play 3 to 4 games and then get off....um,strike that...leave without feeling like I'm leaving anything half-finished or let anyone down.

Last night on Kashan I spent like 25 minutes just trying to get from the US Main base to the bunkers without getting killed. God only knows how long the game went on for and I only had 40 minutes total to play before I had to leave.....

go on..hate me...

I have a safe and more respectable alternative for you my friend: PoE2. Rounds are vastly shorter than PR, and it offers all the vanilla-esque goodness that some people crave from time to time.

Sometimes I load up AIX and beat up on bots to get out my frustration with various things (gaming, wife, boredom). That Littlebird is just like being Superman with a Machine Gun.

Forgot all about POE2, even have it already installed. I will definately use it.

That being said, and going WAY off topic, I do miss Karkland. I have such familarity with the map. My specific function is usually being the ONLY person concerned about the US driving over to the east island...... I wonder how it would play in PR, well actually, I wonder how you would change it to be good for PR.

For me it is Team fortress 2, an exellent game for when I get kicked/disconnected/bored too much. It is a good game for short play too, and imo the best game of 2007 by far.
