Results

PR came in second, FH2 fourth... Insurgency for HL2 took the gold. They said it was a close battle, but I have no idea by how many votes PR got beaten.

I don't know what the insurgency mod even is... and if I haven't heard of it, it must be rubbish.
2nd is still very good though.

Insurgency is so horribly buggy. I think this vote was conducted entirely in florida, we need a recount.

hahaha, Agreed. Ive played insurgency and i dont like it at all. The server i played with was filled with immature little kids

TG has a server, and it's much better. But PR just mops the floor with it in terms of polish and game play.

insurgency is a HL2 mod that tries to mix BF2 with CSS. They have a nice idea but its way to buggy and laggy to be even considered a release. The developer has kind of taken EAs stance on games, release more content maybe the players wont see the problems.

You guys got to think about this.

There are more HL2 players out there than there are BF2. So statistically speaking, PR did a hell of a job coming in second. Insurgency has been hyped up for about 3 years now, and they released it about the same time as the voting. FH2 tried to do the same thing but we all know which mod is better

. So basically what I am saying is, HL2 engine is more popular than the BF2 engine and Project Reality beat out PoE and FH2!

Insurgency is probably the worst HL2 mod I have ever seen just because of all the bugs and all the 5 year olds that play. Drives me nuts.
