Re: A10's without spotters...are like...

Back on topic:

Our brilliantly successful air squad on Kashan tonight (03/07/08) claimed the scalps of any MEC pilot who dared to take to the skies. The number of APC's and infantry squads killed by strafing runs was phenomenal and myself and whoever else had spec ops throughout the map worked our asses off running around the map to laze up AA's and tanks to be taken out.

Really great squad, probably responsible for making sure the enemy never made it past the bunkers while our armour support was down. Thanks to:

Ollie_Fool (replaced by Corporal Cody)
Mongol
Duke
Doorgunner
Beavis (replaced by Pwn3ge)

There is nothing more fulfilling than pointing your SOFLAM at a tank, left clicking and watching an A10 swoop down from the heavens to do your bidding! Seriously, all CAS SL's need to be spotters, preferably with another spec ops guy covering a different sector of the map too.

That must 've been the most boring game on Kashan I ever played (think it lasted just under 3 hours). We held North bunker the entire round and I think we only saw one squad attacking it. Our frogfoot usually went down in less than 5 minutes after take-off... I saw him do strafing runs at a column of 3 tanks and two AAV 's. I also believe you guys had 3 A10 's up at one moment?

Fuzzhead started sending us on suicide missions just to have SOME fun . I will upload some videos to Wegame later on.

2 A10's and a bored and aggressive F16, yes. The lack of infantry squads attacking the bunkers was of some concern, but between myself and the commander we managed to call in airstrikes on even your infantry that ventured out into the open around the bunkers.

The best part of the game had to be watching the repeated rocket strafing runs into that bunker south of the South Bunker CP where you had a firebase and two tanks hiding.
