That's why we have been trying to randomize the maplist after every password night. It happened last Sunday, yesterday and I'll make a point to do it again on Sunday.

Perhaps someone is up for taking a look at it and perhaps see if it can run in PR, and edit it for the correct maps.
Perhaps Panzerhans can take a look? Isn't he locked down in TG basement doing Frontlines stuff? Let's take away his lunchbreaks and make him fix this as well!

If you've got a better idea for a maplist, send it to me and we can implement it.
Nope.. Im appreciative of the change.. You are right, you cant make everybody happy.
I like Kashan, I like most all of them actually.
Thanks for the Changes.

My bad guys, I didn't mean to take out Fool's Road entirely, and I certainly didn't mean to throw Hills of Hamyong back into the fray (goes to show how much I was paying attention when I made the new maplist ) But don't worry I've already received a few maplist ideas and we'll try one of them on Sunday!

Re: Kashan

This is in regards to Kashan 64, (the same goes for kashan 32)

Not to sound negative at all, because Kashan can be a great strategic map and very fast paced and in my experience Kashan works great when there are not 4 different types of armor squads, 1 almost full CAS squad, 1 locked bh transport squad or a locked mec transport squad (with 2 pilots, guys mini guns work, it is not like bf2 vanilla) and then the lone INF squad that ends up having to do most of the work.

Now, I know we all want to fly, we all want to chopper blackhawks (i even sometimes only want to be a minigunner and give support) but why the sudden need to have so many different kinds of Armor squads....in some cases, we don't need that many, because if all the tanks get destroyed during the same length of time, then.....the team is up the creek.

Caffeine uses the CAS system perfectly, its him and 2 or 3 pilots, and that is all, he in the past gets the officer kit (using the spec ops kit isn't the best because with the officer kit you can help the commander out a lot with the options like need close are support etc).

Armor squads are great, but rarely have i seen a tank either mec or USMCstorm to the bunkers and cap a flag without being destroyed.

the last few times i have played kashan has been confusing and frustrating. Everyone just takes off in their own "speciality squad" and goes about their business.

We need to incorporate more infantry squads, they take the flags, they allow assets to be built without a commander present and they allow machine gun fire to unload on troops who try to enter through the top of the bunkers.

Who's with me?

Re: Kashan

Kashan can be an awesome map, but you are right....recently it is all about the "toys". I am always in an INF squad, and we are the only ones taking flags. There are always people out in the middle of nowhere doing something or waiting two flags ahead. Rarely as of late has there been some good organized combat.

IF one team could pull together some organization, I think it would end the round fairly quick.
