Re: Should Hills of Hamyong be put back on Rotation?

My morbid curiosity really would like to see the 16 player version of the Hills map. Just to see it.

its a fun map.

I dont understand the hate.

Britts storm the west and east. Chinese camp them then get overrun.

Tell me hiding in the bunker you just capped and calling artty on yourself isnt fun...

I thought it was.

I bet I'm the only one that always team switched to be on the britt side.

Arty? West and East?
Do you mean JDAM and North and South?
Are we even talking about the same map?

I second that, can someone conjure up the overview map for 16p

This map does have flaws but it did play out ok sometimes. If usmc get a foothold then it could be ok but rarely do in 0.7 and it becomes predictable then

China gets the jdam but usmc are supposed to have it afaik

Maybe usmc should get artillery on this map, I think cougar might be referring to 0.6 when they did get it
In 0.5 china got the artillery, you can see it on trains at their base still

Chuck bits of scenery around the map especially the main bases and you'd give enough cover for this map to play ok maybe

Re: Should Hills of Hamyong be put back on Rotation?

devs would need to extend the boundaries to make it playable the map was just too small

Good idea, the far west has some good cover under crop foilage leading into thick forest but you have to cross on open ground because the good cover is out of bounds!

HoH is good fun for under 30 players, anything over that and its just a spam fest...

since TG is rarely under 30 players, I wouldnt recommend putting it into rotation....
