Re: Need Advice: new GAMING MOUSE.

I use, and would recommend [given the ammount of buttons that you want] a Logitec MX-1000 Laser. It allows you to set up nine different configurations on the mouse and have two buttons where you thumb is (perfect for VOIP). Tilting and clickable mouse-wheel in all directions etc. True, you would need an ice-matt along with it, but that's a minor detail.

Re: Need Advice: new GAMING MOUSE.

I don't think they make the MX1000 anymore. It's no longer on Logitech's website. Also, what is an "ice matt" and why would one need it?

Ah, I see. "Ice-matt" was my bad english to describe a mouse-pad made of glass.

Ideazon Reaper Gaming Mouse I've been using this mouse for over a year now and it never lets me down. Will consider upgrading to the new Reaper Edge.

Is that a laser mouse? The manual with my G7 says specifically to not use anything with a high gloss finish like glass. I use the old reliable fabric covered neoprene pad that came with my mouse/wrist pad:

Did you change the weights and the things underneath the mouse?

Yeah, its a laser mouse. I tried to use a mouse pad like yours, but it was impossible. The cursor wasn´t "exact" at all, it was difficult to move the mouse around (due to its kind of heavy) and so on. So I went into a computer-store and asked them exactly what I needed to have to get the mouse to function as it should. So they picked up a "glass-pad" and said that what's best for a laser-mouse. Made all the difference for me.

Re: Need Advice: new GAMING MOUSE.

Hmm, that's odd. I figured the reflections would mess with it judging by the recommendations from Logitech. I have used a paper thin plastic mouse pad with a grid-like pattern on it also that worked fine, but just felt uncomfortable after using the wrist pad thing I've had for so many years.

You are kidding, right? You get what you pay for when buying PC parts and accessories. Plus with only 1600dpi, it's a little behind the times.

Re: Need Advice: new GAMING MOUSE.

I use the G7 desktop and G5 laptop, both are great...Newegg.com is a great site with reviews that are very on the spot. I go there even if I am going to buy somewhere else.

Question....what are we doing?.....imagine Warehouse with a new mouse all configured....yeah, lets speed up his ability to kill...I hope I am on his side.
