Um, no. The point is, if you are a good player with a cheap mouse, a better mouse will make you that much better. The accuracy of a laser mouse and the ability to change dpi settings on the fly are very desirable assets.

Which is why my Harlequin at a very early age was discouraged from any kind of play with cords. She'd hang around my feet at 5-6 weeks and any interest in the cords around my computer desk was met with a swift pop to the butt and a loud "NO". She learned very quickly and has stayed away from them ever since. (Her only current sin is to step on the off switch on one of my power strips. I have to remember to leave anything with a power switch laying on its side. But the power squid for one of my machines wants to wiggle itself upright.)
