Re: Has anyone her seen/tride this rifle?
Both appear to be the AKM assault rifle, which is in the simplest sense, a AK-47 with a folding stock. The gold plated one, I assume is from the movie Lord of War?

Re: Has anyone her seen/tride this rifle?
The MG42 is still in use today, although slightly modified. It is known as the MG3 and those who played the original Ghost Recon will probably remember Dieter Munz and the awesome firepower he played out with the MG3. The RPK is a Russian automatic rifle and will probably still be used.
