I hope you didn't take that poll seriously!

I am just another adult with a college degree

If I was really 12, I couldn't even do what I do....

Think about it, would a 12 year old respond to 911 calls? No, I sure hope not!

The whole "I am 12 thing" was a joke if you didn't get it

Check out this age distribution graph:

(I'm near the top.)

You make it happen. There will be times I am off the server for a while but PR is always waiting...I type into the forums in airports or when I get a second or two. My wife and kids get me full time and come first... and then there is my firm (which I own, maybe that is why I don't want to lead when in the game) plus I frequently ski, mountain bike, and run....on and on...it is all mindset. If you believe you can do it all, you do. I know, 30's seems old. My advice to you is do all you can when you have that 1 or 2 in front of your age...great, great years...and they only get better imo.

Re: A Mature Gamer's Age

Im 17. I've noticed that in about the last year or so I've calmed down a lot. I used to try to win arguements on servers and things like that. Now if someone says I did something that I didnt or argue with me in some way it's much easier for me to just dismiss it. I can just say "whatever, I know what I did and what I didn't so I'm not going to argue." and I wont really feel as much push to argue. I used to be one of those kids who was concerned about everything ( i dont really know how to explain what I mean) but now I feel a lot more laid-back about everything in general and I think it makes me a much better gamer.

Re: A Mature Gamer's Age

It illustrates why I think the term "adult language" is an oxymoron. The most swearing I've ever encountered came either from my friends when I was 10ish or from my mom.

That kid was 11 years old? What has the youth of America succumbed to?

Re: A Mature Gamer's Age

If I ever hear my kid playing computer games and saying the words "strap-on" at age 11, i'm going to seal him inside a wooden barrel and feed him through the hole in the side until he's 18.

I was born middle-aged but an old man forever. Fifteen. I wrote it in text because that number looks so much bigger. ;P
