CO Sabatical - Page 3

I find my age comes into play alot when I'm a CO. I've witnessed this happen with pwn3ge countless times. Most SL think that because their leader is young it means he is immature and nieve (Spelling?). They believe the orders are dumb and they don't recognize any authority. Lol who would listen to a little 15 year old giving you, a 30 year old man orders. Anyway, I think you need a certain kind of leadership and presense to be a succesful CO. Not one of my best traits (High pitched voice)...

age shouldn't matter its how you carry yourself as a CO, pilot, sl, crewman, etc.......

I don't really care what age you are as long as you aren't annoying me with crazy constant chatter or ridiculous orders and as long as you can give me a clear concise order to follow.

Age and Voice pitch while certainly a factor in many people's eyes for me is secondary to ability, patience, maturity and skill.

eh... although you guys see that many others don't. In the heat of battle with automatic fire beaming down on you, usually the CO gets blamed for the order. I'll sometimes go CO, but not one of my favorite things to do (I take a lot of BS).

he missed spell it. It's Sabbatical which means taking leave of something you normally do.
