How many people play PR?

Does anyone know how many people play this game? Is there a way of counting profile names. Given some people may have more than 1 name, but a close estimate.

Well, there is no way to reasonably say "How many people play PR". People may have tried PR and left it or may not play regularly at all. There are thousands of dead BF2 accounts and hundreds of people with multiple ones.

However, there is a way to tell how many people are playing PR at any given time:

Right now, there are exactly 300 people playing PR out of a possible server space of 5743 meaning that 5.22% of the total server space for PR is being utilised.

On EST nights, the number goes to 350-400. At late night EST (Say 1AM-5AM EST) the number dips to 150. Once the European evening starts, German servers such as the 10th or other European servers such as the British "Tactics & Teamwork" server also start getting full. However,even during European times , the TG server is full due to its popularity. Right now (10:36PM Hong Kong (My time) time meaning 10:30 AM EST) its European game time and the average number of people playing now ranges from 250-350.

On weekends, EST nights sometimes go to 500-600. This also happens when a new patch is released. European nights during weekends average out at approximately 400-450.

I hope that answers your question and all the numbers I've mentioned here are just from my own server-monitoring.

thanks, yea that's more than I thought...so i'm guessing roughly 1000 active users maybe.

Number just dipped to 280. Considering the ratio of US:Euro Pings on the full servers, I would say that a sizable number of Americans also play during Euro time. If I had to guess the amount of active PR players, I would put it at 800.

usually the forum is active to around 650 people, so i'm guessing there are about 700 active players total.

I think its probably on par with sabre's assessment. The forums are a misnomer. Sure, there may be 600 people active on the forums, but there are certainly lots of people (i'm sure theres at least 100 people from TG alone) who havent even registered accounts on the realitymod forums.
