Re: Life outside PR
I've hit a deer before. Not fun. I was driving a F-150 and it was about 5:30 AM. I was wide awake (because I usually am at 5:30) and visibility was good. Bambi just hopped off the roadside and right into my path. There was no swerving (literally less than half a second between seeing the deer and "splat"). Now, this F-150 had cattle bars on the front and I was only doing 40. Still DEMOLISHED the front end of the truck. It was drivable and there was no engine damage, but the headlight on the passenger side was exploded, the hood ripped up, the quarter panel crumpled and the windshield shattered with a nice deer antler sticking through right where the passenger's face would have been.

Re: Life outside PR
Turkish, you live in Arizona. I would think you would at least know how to spell "Señor" correctly.

True story: One night I was driving home in my 87 Monte Carlo. Small town, 30mph, early evening. I was behind a car just outside of town when suddenly he swerved. I started to brake but this deer just stepped right in front of me and went *crunch*. I stopped on the shoulder and got out to look. The deer had slid into the opposite lane. My front end had gotten pushed up over the lip of the hood, grill cracked, driver side headlight (which had JUST BEEN REPLACED) smashed. A pickup truck came down the road, the driver turned to look at me. The deer lifted his head to look around...and got a facefull of bumper. The pickup driver stopped and got out. Then some guy came out of the house that I was stopped in front of. The three of us stood there, surveying the carnage. "So...venison, anyone?"
