Re: Life outside PR

I horribly paint table top minis and play games as my interaction with other people in person. Primarily I play other games or post about how other people are wrong on the internet.

Actually I also enjoy a good game of pool, many video games from PC shooters to consoles. I enjoy exercise outside like disc golf but I don't put enough time in to get good. I have a wife who also limits my interaction time but she does still let me pick out movies, sometimes she wanders off. I just refuse to watch the chick flicks.

Canadian what kind paintball gun do u use?
'98 Custom. Red dot sight. Remote Air. Tactical camoflauge paintjob (Duracoat finish). Double trigger assembly. Stock hopper (the mechanical ones dont hold enough for me, and I never have paint break in my barrel...so 200 > 150). I carry 2 tubes with 150 in each. I got the same guy who painted my gun to do my paintball mask for 10 bucks. I have a flatline barrell i use depending on the scenario and where we play (I dont use it on our home field, but at the public field in town and one or two of the surrounding fields I do)....it just depends on my role for each game. I have a 20 oz tank on my remote air, and carry a 9 oz backup. I am 2nd in the chain of command, so I carry a radio. What about you?

Re: Life outside PR

holy crap....well, being a repair technician, we get to build our own guns. I have, essentially, an ION that is modified, 5000psi compressed air tank. titanium barrell with freak front and inserts. blackheart board. QEV valve. shoots about 20-25 balls per second. I had a SP Shocker but when I quit, they made me turn it in. good gun though. I play every once in a while at the All american paintball park. they are holding the NXL or NPPL tournament there in August I think.

Well, I just quit skateboarding after 6 years. Been playing guitar for about 3 now. Run Track and Field for highschool. Been trying to get good grades for a good college with a good ROTC program so I can make a good career out of an officer in the Army. And some other small things. Oh, airsoft too.

I've had a Netflix account for the better part of four years. Awhile back I rented Cool Hand Luke (I'm a huge Paul Newman fan) and convinced her to watch it...I fell asleep halfway through. She never got over that. We also watched 2001 together, and that went down just as well.

I've come up with a theorem about it: In chick flicks, the important characters die at the beginning. (Ever After, Catch and Release, Jersey Girl). In guy movies, the important characters die at the end. (Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, Reservoir Dogs) The best compromise are movies where no one (important) dies. Princess Bride, Stardust, Must Love Dogs.

Re: Life outside PR

College freshman here. I'm studying for a degree in Information Technology at Drexel University in Philly. I also play three instruments, hopefully on top of my future IT job I'll be doing music on the side semi-professionally. I'm also planning on joining the Air Force ROTC program next year. I'm a fan of paintball but haven't been playing much since it's too damn expensive. I've got a Brass Eagle Rainmaker, that's right, Brass Eagle, and it's one of a kind . Here's some old pics, added a few more things to it but this is what I use for the most part:

I love how some posters actually include photographic evidence of their Real Life

I'm an intern market analyst at a worldwide climate contol company originating in Sweden, called "Munters". No paycheck Well this internship is part of my 1.5 year course to be an export coordinator.

I've learned the Korean language for 2 years in university so I'm surveying South Korea. Would prefer to go over there and work though! Before Korean, I've learned French for 6 years and German for 2 years in school.

I'm a bit of a linguistics, military and video game aficionado. Enjoy movies, food experiences, music and being around friends. I like dancing at clubs but just don't do it that often :| And I have a girlfriend.
Supposed to do karate at least a couple of times a week but I'm pretty lazy these days! Running and swimming are also good ways to exercise.

Re: Life outside PR

nardini, what 3 instruments do u play? when I graduated I tried to get into the Air Force Academy. I was wanting to be a fighter pilot (or even transport).

I went to a private school most of my school days so they were gonna send an officer over to check it out. We had everything planned out, I was itchin to go and then the sledge hammer hit....I was denied medically. I tried joining enlisted but again medically denied.

So I tried to get my pilot's license on my own. Got half way there and it got too expensive. I am going to try to finish it up someday soon, but like I said, it's ridiculously expensive.

I'll post a pic of my paintball gun here as soon as i get a pic of it. Well, so far, for the most part, we kinda like the same things....some kind of tactical games (paintball, airsoft). Oh yea and I'm a pizza fanatic....would eat it breakfast lunch and dinner if money wasn't an object to me.
