I enjoy the sweet sound of being blamed for every failure experienced by the 15th, whether it was actually my fault or not.

What pisses me off is that in certain terrain (like forests) your own footsteps will continue to sound off for a second or so after you stop, making you uncertain if you're really alone or not.

Crossing the river on Ghost Train there is a crashed plane with frogs on it. That is really cool to see and hear them when you slow down long enough.

Re: favorite Sounds while playing PR.

The sound of a rally and how it creates paranoia is the best.

"I think I hear a rally"
"Um... we're 10 meters from the flag"
".... Bunker?"

The PKM both in first person and as an unfortunate bystander is my absolute favorite sound in game though. It's like it's punching you in the ears.

Re: favorite Sounds while playing PR.

On urban maps when I get a guy in my squad that I'm leading that is a hot shot close combat shooter that says "Minus one!" everytime he gets a kill.

I love it. There are 2 guys that I know of that do it. And then, when they either die...or kill off the opposition...they give the sit rep "Minus 4, I'm down" or "Minus 5, Clear".

Seeing it while it happens is better though.

Re: favorite Sounds while playing PR.

  1. Long distant weapon sounds - simply awesome
  2. A10 flying by and opening fire - soo scary when you 're not US
  3. JDAM - the whistling sound just before it hits the ground
  4. Enemy armour exploding - always a relief
