I think all cougar needs now is a lay down partner in or along side the chinook.
Who will enjoy laying on their stomach as much as cougar does? Who wants to go prone in .8 with cougar? He's an admin, fellas, all you non supporting members, there will be perks! The Bathrooms in Kashan might never be the same, if you hear any toe tapping, just finish your business and leave.

I hope it still contains some of the more radical parts like good terrain cover on mountain sides (ie. they aint simple smooth slopes) and also the additional vehicle spawn if you capture the enemy base

Will it include a mini rail line like the one inlcuded in Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom? That would be interesting, can you imagine shooting at one another as you go down, then theres the LAT or HAT guy who will ruin all the fun.....
Sounds interesting.....I never really considered myself a mountain man but theres always time to grow a beard (that would be a cool feature for the afghan maps.)

No, he's on the internet.
I think Chinooks are quite fast, one flew by my school today and it looked a lot faster than the civilian/police choppers that fly past sometimes.

Yea, they're pretty damn fast... I get them flying over my house and out past the water about once a week, definitely faster than Police choppers, I'd doubt blackhawks though.. (have only seen 3 fly over before, not sure if they were UH40s or the Navy version)

Probably depends on how much the pilot hates his crew,

I would like to see a small charge (for the engies) that doesnt have such a big blast radius. This way I don't have to kill 5 blue guys everytime I try to blow a bunker/razorwire/sandbags.

New maps. Especially that Afghanistan map that there were some screen shots of. that looked like a really fun map.

I think the theory of how slams should work is a force only against the object its placed on but instead they got a spherical blast radius like everything else, bf2 problem most likely

Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
The M2 Slam was actually designed to be used as a mine along with being a timed explosive, so a realistic blast from a Slam would be I shaped (force goes out top and bottom, not to the sides).

Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
Definitely looking at the new maps, its a good experience when its new terain for all players, keeps them a little more on edge. I am also looking foward to the US Army with all their new stuff, always liked the look of the m4. Of course the little tweeks that make it a lil more interesting. Cant wait for it to come out.
As you can tell or have seen me playing, im pretty new so, most things i might not notice. But it all looks very promising.

Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
Im exited about fast ropes obviously....
But really I want the new Afgan Map, plus a better Spec Ops experience TBH the US Army doesnt look that good, id probably going to have a burt shot rifle so will be almost identical to the USMC, but thats just me.

Thats what I was just thinking, where'd you get the idea of fast ropes from? And I hope they'll never put fast ropes in.. would kill the mod,
