the british smarksman rifle is actually used by the entire army, In a squad ont team will have the, the other the Minimi (or m240 as you called it)
I was told this by an ex para (who said the whole army used it)
Although the Brits also use another actual marksman rifles, i saw this on Ross Kemp in Afghanistan btw (watch it on Liveleak.com its good)
