"Correct": Riff (as is guitar riff), Raffs (like Laughs, but with an R), Elbow (as in your arm)
Preferred: Riff, Riff-Raff, "R" (if you don't feel like pronouncing a whole syllable)
Incorrect pronunciations applied to me: Rife (Life with an R), Riffles (not to be confused with Rifle or Rifles; pronounced more like Ruffles, the chips), confused mumbling, attempting to form some semblance of a word (My favorite: "Rif.... Rife..... what should I call you, R I F F-")
For some reason, I guess the idea of "Riff-raff" doesn't pop out of my name, at least in game.
