Im going to redownload PR and PR maps, i forgot to download maps b4.
But it said something about shades or shadows or something.

Argh, I got a normal mic today with the 3.5 jack. Still the same. Works in TS, works in the battlefield voip set up in the my programs folder, but when i try it in game nothing. Arrg

Are you sure it isn't just really low? Try turning the Windows +20db boost on. Go into your sound settings, microphone, advanced, and check the box.

Yep, I already tried all that. I dont even get the little icon come up in game to say im broadcating. ><. Its obviously something up with my pc but I dont know what.

Mints I think you need to uninstall and then reinstall BF2 think this has happened to me couple of times over the years.

Okays, just done this. One thing I noticed was that I could actually get the mic to work on the BF2 settings before I patched. But once I patched it wont detect anything. Would this help find the problem?

Well heres something weird that I found on another forum, ill copy and paste it. It does seem to have made it work in the menu, ill try it in game later:

Yo, i got a prob when i try get into PR 0.8 Servers
PR crashes to my desktop (no warning whatsoever) when it tries to verify client data.
I dno what to do

I assume you mean 0.85?

What res are you playing on? 800x600 will crash you to desktop, make sure it 's 1024x768 or higher.
