You can still place firebases in the bunkers on Kashan. But only when you have not capped the flag as bunkers will not fit. Do this by:

going to the "garage" and stand in the right behind corner.
pointing towards the yellow/black marking or the middle of the garage.

While the vehicle will spawn in the direction you are standing, it won't spawn directly where you are because FOs now deploy 10m in front of you instead of 5m.

I tested this many times and was only able to set the asset twice.

I like to use bunkers as "perimeter positions" so i place them far back and then set up a defensive line out for overwatch 200 meters away. Then i put a lot of sandbags for my squad and HMG's for shooting. Then i like to wait until the jeep spawns and then bring that up as a third 50-cal and use it to flank anyone we see advancing..

the keys are eyes, knowing where before the action.

I tried tonight to place a bunker and build a "fire cell" away at 200m. I have tried this several times, but I think it doesn't work on the TG server.

I think anytime someone on TG sees wire or a 50cal or a sandbag, they think ".....there is a bunker within 200m.....".....

It is almost better to not put assets out sometimes to conceal the location of the bunker. How many folks think that is a good tactic?

I have to tend to agree. Whenever i find sandbags or anything like that i look for a FB. If it is not defended it will just be found and destroyed. I only set up defense if people will be spawning and defending it

If you placed that "firecell" well you have a good defensive position regardless if that FOP stays up or not. If you do not intend to use it then assets are just roadsign for the enemy to point towards a nearby FOP.

i like to put my rally near the defensive cell.

it works better then you might think as well, depending on the map.

SOme maps, 200 meters can hide a FB really well.... not really kashan though.

What about setting up a firebase just to deploy fire cells then remove the firebase elsewhere? Could be used to either make a roadblock/defensive position, or trick enemies into wasting time looking for a FB that isn't around...

After I pressed PrtScn the FOP crashed while shovelling but you should be able to see that I stand in the corner of the garage in a Kashan bunker while looking towards the entrance. Note that this only works when the flag is not captured yet.

what i found funny is fob squad, or fbmadnes squad makes firebase then set defensive assets all around it, but they dont defend and just run away to a new place, i mean if you guys wanna make fb, defend them then..
