PR: New Rule!!! Take Note!!!

Due to the changes in PR regarding ticket loss for destruction of vehicles and assets, and to help improve teamwork, the PR admins are instituting a new rule that is to become effective Saturday, February 28th.

13. One-manning assets is prohibited

Any vehicle that requires a request-able kit to operate or requires more than 1 crewman to operate at it's full potential may not be 1-manned without express permission of the CO or due to exceptional circumstances (admin decision applies).

Examples of vehicles covered by this rule: Tanks, APCs and IFVs, most AAVs, attack helicopters, 2-seat jets, TOW humvees, etc.

Example of vehicles not covered by this rule: Jeeps, transport and logistical trucks, cars, transport helicopters, motorcycles, PLA AAV, etc.

Uhh, will this rule also apply to Anti-Tank vehicles such as the TOW HMMWV and Spandrel? (While the Spandrel requires a crewman kit, the TOW HMMWV does not, yet they cost the same amount of tickets and fullfill the same role on the battlefield).

Reread the rule marine sounds like the tow humvee would be covered "requires more than 1 crewman to operate at it's full potential "

One would wish that using the TOW Humvee wouldn't have to be listed within the rule, but as we all have found out, that no matter what, you can't expect every person to actually think before deciding to use vehicles no matter what for their own personal use.

I am glad the Admins have decided to implement this as an addition to the server rules, i can only guess there probably has been some talk over the last few versions of PR and I can't wait to see it officially put into effect this weekend, is there anyway you can also add this to the start up screen? maybe on the bottom after "no bunny hopping." I know that might be stretching it but thought i'd just throw it out there.

I'd just like to reiterate this. We've been seeing an increasing number of wrong reports, or reports for something that isn't against the rules. Try and figure out the situation first before running to an admin, in the end it makes things better for everyone.

Exactly. Make sure you find out if a SL has asked someone to bring up a vehicle for the squad to use before reporting.
