when flying transport helo's (probably also when i would fly jets), there you need something soothing, so you heart rate goes down, and you dont do stupid things out of overreacting:

When the game starts and everyone is running to the choppers/HUMMWV's I always imagine Sgt.Mackenzie to be playing (Like in We Were Soldiers).
As for good killing music.
I know its overused but Walk by Pantera is perfect.
That or some Megadeath
Fireball Ministry- Sundown is a good one too.
